Course of specialization
for young conductors
Level II
Regolamento
Activities
This course intends to offer young orchestra conducting graduates,
or students in their last year at an Italian Conservatory, the
opportunity to have a direct experience with a large orchestra,
considering that institutional inadequacies do not permit, except
sporadically, the opportunity to work with a professional orchestra.
The course will last seven days.
No more than 10 participants will be admitted: 6 active students
and 4 auditors.
The course includes 12 lessons and 7 rehearsals.
The theory lessons will be subdivided as follows: 2 lessons on
the theory of conducting, 4 on sheet music analysis, 6 on orchestra
conducting techniques.
The course will conclude with a public concert conducted by each
of the active course participants.
The course will be taught by Maestro Stefano Trasimeni.
Participation in the course requires payment of an enrollment
fee.
Course Duration
The course will be held from 21 to 29 April 2011.
Admission
Admission will be determined based on the Curriculum Vitae submitted
by prospective students. Those who are accepted will be contacted
by the Accademia administrative office to complete their registration.
All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time
